IF YOU ARE EDITING A WIKIPROJECT, THIS CONCERNS YOU

Okay, so I've been noticing a trend here as of late. While I do appreciate everyone's help with the projects, the Projects page has gone from a sort of forum for everyone to collaborate on things, to a place where one just does a drive-by posting of what they want to do, and then goes on to do their own thing by themselves with hardly any notification to the people in charge of certain projects, or even then page as a whole.

This cannot be done in a collaborative environment. We must know what each of us is up to in order to better organize and create content. If we do not, this site is going to look like a third-grader's art book, a mish-mash of separate ideas and functions that are barely cohesive enough to stick together. And we wouldn't want that, would we?

That's why, starting as soon as this blog post is published, every single Wikiproject/editor involved in a Wikiproject needs to check in with me in order to continue. This means either PMing me on chat/leaving a talk page message with the details of what you are doing. If you do not, you're looking to face a block. It's very difficult keeping everyone in check when I know what you're doing, but if you choose to ignore me, I will have no choice but to prevent you from editing. I know this is a hassle, but it will help prevent disorganized content. In the end, some Projects may be shut down, and some may be wildly reorganized, but hopefully this process will make the Wiki look much better in the long run.

And yeah, I know I haven't been on much as of late, and it's been my fault. I've been busy with much stuff. But now, I have a lot more free time, and will be able to handle what needs doing.
