Rumoured to have once ruled the lost city of Splatlantis, Cranky Codfathers are now better known for prodding passers-by with their plastic tridents. Well you'd be cranky too if you spent all day helping Moshlings across the road. Yep, that's right, these fishy fellas work as crossing guards on busy Haddock Highway. Rumour has it that their ancestors once ruled the place. Sadly, these days they are better known for prodding passers-by with their plastic tridents and yelling rude comments. Well, you'd be cranky too if you spent all day helping Moshlings across the road. Yep, that's right, these fishy fellas work as crossing guards on busy Haddock Highway. It's a perfectly good job but hardly a career fit for a king! Habitat Cranky Codfathers can be found across the Seventy Seas but they sometimes pop into the Sea Mall to buy beard shampoo. Personality Tetchy, wise, regal. Likes Mushy peas and wooden sporks. Dislikes Ketchup and harpoons.   • Cap'n Buck's family has a mention of The Cod Father, but Cranky Codfathers are likely a different species.
  • Their figure appears to be sculpted after an alternate/unfinalized design as the eyes use a differing style rather than the button eyes used on the final design of Uncle Scallops.
