Is it art or an utter shambles? I really couldn't say. I don't go in for all this fancy modern art. But who cares about my opinion when an Abstract Artiste's sole ambition is to win the coveted Blurg-ner Prize for Baffling Bonkers Art? That's why these crazy Moshlings spend all day flicking gluey glitter at passers-by and pickling slices of Oobla Doobla in huge tanks of fluorescent jelly. In fact, an Abstact Artiste recently asked if it could construct a statue of yours truly (that's me!) made from freeze-dried mutant sprouts. No, thanks!

- Splatter's design was first seen on Moshi Monsters's Facebook page on a Design a Moshling Contest 2013 poster.
- It had been in a M.O.S.H.I.S.U.P.P.O.R.T. email said that Splatter will have another method to be obtained in early 2014; no such combination was released.
- Proven in a Moshi email, Splatter was said to have a combination in September 2014; yet again, such emerged having not been case, as shown below:
- Splatter's combination was released on December 1st, 2013 (A few weeks before the Moshi Movie was released) and could be obtained by pre-booking Moshi Monsters: The Movie tickets with VUE cinemas.
- Splatter's characteristic seed, the Van Goji Berries, are a portmanteau of Van Gogh, renowned Dutch artist, and the goji berries, an Asian berry species.
