Hoolio the Creepy Crooner is an uncommon Moshling in the RoxStars set within the Moshi Monsters franchise. Hoolio is a calaca/calavera who can create quite a spook for anyone who sees them as they play mournful music when the full moon is out. Appearance aside, their colourful makeup and attire makes them quite charming when they hand out roses and ask for tips.
Hoolio can be obtained by collecting Ecto Gloops in the Moshis vs Ghosts event. You have the choice to play Blast or Shoo to fill up your SpectreCollector. You have to be a Member to play Blast. Once obtaining a total of 10,000 Ecto Gloops, Hoolio will leave the top of the Ecto Gloop Meter to join your zoo.
I see dead Moshlings! Well, not quite, but you could be forgiven for thinking that these eerie Moshlings are dearly departed as they do look pretty lifeless. Then again, Creepy Crooners are dead good on the guitar. These wandering minstrels love playing mournful mariachi music, especially when there is a full moon. With their colourful make-up and snazzy outfits they can often be found in posh Moshi restaurants serenading diners, handing out dead roses and collecting tips in their hats. I must be sure to book one next time I go on a date - which is unlikely, as I'm married to Moshlingology!

Creepy Crooners can be found at Dearly Departed Drive where you are sure to find a few Creepy Crooners de-tuning their guitars.
Sepulchral, tuneless and mysterious.
Piñatas filled with bugs and rotten tortillas
Daylight and decent melodies.
- Hoolio can be obtained in a similar fashion as Blinki, where a Blinki needs bugs instead of Ecto Gloop.
- An important aspect about Hoolio's place in their release is the time it takes. The Mexican "Day of the Dead" comes right after the American Halloween.
