The Moshi Monsters Ghost Pirate Chest is a container that hold 5 figures of the The Gooey Galleon Gang who are described as Ghostly Pirates. Within the chest, one figurine will be gold. The chest itself may vary in colour - red, yellow or teal - and if it is black it holds exclusively gold figures.
The gold variations leaves their lips coloured and Mr. Mushy Peas has his 3D glasses untouched.
They were manufactured by Vivid Imaginations and shown on the London Toy Fair of 2013 and were planned to launch August later that year. The Vivid representative said them to be very excited about the Ghost Pirate figurines in particular. They were made due to the characters being so well-received on Moshi Monsters, referring to them having become a "cult".
