Flick 'N' Mix is a rhythm game playable at the Arcade in Egg Hunt.
The game overview shows a white glove – The Flicker – at the end of a conveyor belt. This conveyer belt holds the ingredients needed for the recipe. On the BPM of the music, the conveyer belt moves towards the Flicker and touching the screen makes it flick the object in front inside a bowl behind the contraption. The bowl needs to be filled up with ingredients for the dish to be prepared.
The flicking is judged by timing and is either "OK", "PERFECT" or "BAD". A good performance is rewarded with a star system with 3 stars being the highest rewards and zero stars the lowest.
A performance with zero stars, which one gets by spamming the flicking so the “BAD” fills up, flicking in a lot of Glumps or simply not doing anything, makes the recipe turn into Slop. Starting from 1 to 3 stars creates the actual supposed dish that the recipe guided.
The “perfect” score is merciful as one is still able to get it even when having flicked in a Glump. As long as one has enough PERFECT flicks and most ingredients on the conveyor belt one can still achieve a perfect score. An indicator of good performance is how much the bowl is filled up – flicking in a Glump depletes the bowl.
The better quality the dish, the better a Moshling reacts to the food and gets them to full health and happiness quicker. The latter is not of any real influence on the gameplay.
Glumps are on the conveyer belt between the ingredients - and sometimes behind them, which is revealed at least 5 steps before reaching the flicker. In case of Squiff, it seems they specifically jump in front of the ingredient the moment they reach the flicker – as such it is advised to not flick when Squiff is between ingredients. With the exception of Fishlips and Freakface – all Glumps are present.
